In step 7 of the iPhone 4 jailbreak with snowbreeze there are some aspects that need considering. If you happen to own an iPhone 3GS, the next snowbreeze interface screen will allow you to make an update to the baseband of your device. This upgrade is technically developed in order to allow unlockable terminals decoded. The software will install the baseband on the iPhone without any user intervention and start the install of a IPSW.
Step 8 involves a menu that allows you the selection of apps you want from Cydia or apps that you downloaded on your computer. These apps that you now select will automatically see installation in the IPSW. After you select the desired apps and check all the boxes that you need, you can proceed to the next step.
After choosing the apps and files you want, at step 9 you initiate the process for creating the IPSW you want. For that you click on the Build IPSW option and the process in on. When you end the custom IPSW build you get a pop-up message.
Step 10 You click on the Ok box and the apps goes to the DFU mode using the Snowbreeze. From now on each step is very important.
- You must first create a connection between the iPhone and the computer but you must first close the terminal;
- Then keep the power button pressed for about 3 secs;
- Continue by keeping the Power and Home buttons pressed and hold them for about 10 secs;
- Release ONLY the power button and hold the Home button
- Now the device is entering the DFU Mode.

Step 11 start after closing the opened iTunes. Then keep pressed the Shift key while the restart and select the custom IPSW built with sn0wbreeze; it should be located on your desktop.
Step 12 You need to restart the iPhone in tethered mode and install the jailbreak in the iBooty-for-5.0b6 files folder. Then open iBooty in DFU Mode and the iPhone will restart in tethered mode and so you have full freedom on customizing and installing Cydia apps and tweaks.
