Bluetooth Headsets With Voice Tube

Everybody nowadays is using the so called Bluetooth  technology , but I guess there aren’t so many that have wondered how does it work.  So, I will make a short introduction, presenting the Bluetooth  main principle.

Basically it is a technology  that replaces wires. It includes a series of wireless technologies. The  information is transmitted between  electronic devices without using a wire, like radio transmission. In this way a connection is created, where one device is transmitter and the other device is a receiver. In most of the cases, those devices are  both a transmitter and a receiver and the communication among them is called bidirectional. The catch is that information is not sent anyway, but follows a certain rule, named a logic protocol. In this way the data can be transmitted without the danger of losing them. The first one to develop and use  Bluetooth was Ericsson.

This technology  has a lot of cool applications (especially in the electronic communications field ) like: connecting a peripheral device to a computer as a mouse, keyboard, printer, headphones. Another useful application is the wireless connection between the cellular phones, when you need to transfer data, files, music, videos, etc.

The main argument is the freedom of movement while still listening their favourite music, or talking on the phone without  having to carry the phone with them. With a pretty wide range (app. 30 ft) it makes possible to have dinner, to go to the bathroom, even to work out with the headphones or the headsets on.

Another reason why headsets became so popular is because people are more and more in a rush. So they save time and energy.

The phone headsets have a special facility called voice tube. This means that not only you will hear what the interlocutor says, but you will also be able to speak and the other person will listen.

A considerable producer of headsets is the company Plantronics. The product is called Tristar and is a really reliable, lightweight headset with voice tube. It is comfortable to wear, and the sound is clear. It comes in a single earpiece.

There is an interesting feature named Quick Disconnect that allows the user to step away from the phone while wearing the headset.

The only thing that could be an obstacle is the price. A Tristar set is about $122.00. But I guess the earnings make this investment worth. Will you ease your life or not?
