Once you’ve bought an iPhone 4 you must think how to protect it. Belkin offers a great variety of iPhone 4 compatible cases and is a powerful competitor on the cases market.

This case is packaged in hard plastic and just by looking at the package one could think that the case inside is a flimsy silicone case but nothing could be further from the truth. The case, once the wrapping is thrown away, presents itself transparent and very firm. It has no silicone in it and the grip it offers is amazing.

Being transparent you may want to know if fingerprints on it remain after using the phone. They don’t. In the extreme case when you use some hand moisturizer you may want to wait for it to be absorbed by the skin but even then the case is mostly fingerprint free.

The fit on the iPhone 4 is perfect. The only part of the iPhone 4 that’s not protected is the screen but that’s not a problem as you can find a screen protector very easy. There are numerous manufacturers to choose from including Wrapsol, BodyGuardz or Zagg.

Compared to the Apple Bumper case, this product is molded to fit exactly the iPhone 4 and keep the phone original design clean. All the curvy lines on the iPhone will be kept by using this case as it features smoothed corners and edges, and the fact that it’s not that thick makes this case almost perfect. Almost perfect momentarily because being so thick one may think that dropping the iPhone will most certainly crack it and damage the internal components due to the thickness.

False. Being thick doesn’t mean that it’s weak. In fact the material from which it’s made is very resistant and even a big drop won’t crack you iPhone 4, except the screen which is not protected. This product relies on technology to protect the iPhone 4 rather than sheer material thickness.

The back is semi transparent and this makes the iPhone 4 shiny back cover gray. Some may see this as a good thing, some may not.

The Belkin Grip Vue can be found at stores starting from $24.99 making this product a cheap case for the iPhone 4 compared to other cases at the same price.
